SilentAds ("we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Chrome Extension.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data or browsing history. SilentAds operates strictly client-side on your local device.

• Local Storage: The extension saves locally on your browser your preference states and standard usage metrics (e.g., number of ads silenced, estimated time saved) using the standard Chrome Storage API. This data never leaves your machine.
• Permissions: The extension requests host permissions for YouTube and YouTube Music solely to detect when an advertisement element is actively rendering in the DOM in order to toggle the audio mute state.

2. Third-Party Services

We use Stripe for handling secure payment processing and license validation. When you upgrade to our premium tier, billing interactions happen directly and securely via Stripe. We do not have access to, nor do we store, your credit card details or payment credentials.
